Activities

Researchers tell us boys typically learn best three ways: outside, doing activities, and through male relationships. The weekend will focus on these three aspects of boyhood. But we are also seeing that these boys are quickly turning into men, and need to make that transition. The following activities* are designed with this particularly in mind, and allow you as the father to speak into your son’s life.

  • Introduction of Sons
  • Introduction of Fathers
  • Trap Shooting (equipment provided)
  • Fishing (bring your own equipment but leave your boat at home)
  • Orienteering activity
  • Father/son cookout
  • Evening campfires
  • Night prayer hike

There will also be chapel services that will provide relevant content for helping your son make the transition to manhood.

*  activities subject to weather conditions and other changes.
